Volunteer roles
Volunteers support over 2,000 students who walk across the stage, each year. As students receive their degrees in front of family and friends, it will be one of their proudest achievements. By volunteering, you help form a day they will remember for a lifetime.
Usher
Ushers support ceremony guests.
As an usher, you will direct guests to seating and photo areas. Ushers also ensure walkways are safe and clear.
Student marshal
Student marshals lead the student processions from ADM to the gym. Once the ceremony is complete, you will lead students to the courtyard.
Gown and hood pinner
Pinners assist with regalia. As a pinner, you will help graduates pin their hoods* to their gowns.
*Hoods are the loose piece of fabric designating the wearer’s academic status

I encourage all who can to volunteer and help make graduation a resounding success.
Graduation is the highlight of our academic year as we watch our students celebrate their achievements with family and friends–and volunteering gives you a front-row seat to witness the excitement!
