Lindsay GordonLindsay Gordon

Lindsay Gordon is a business and community leader with a deep commitment to supporting those who have experienced barriers to education and access to healthcare. As President and CEO of HSBC Bank Canada, he provided expertise to countless professional and business organizations. His many contributions to UBC include his leadership roles as Chancellor, as Co-Chair of the start an evolution campaign and his influential role in UBC’s Indigenous Strategic Plan. His wide-ranging community service is highlighted by his role as co-founder of CH.I.L.D. (Foundation for Children with Intestinal & Liver Disorders) and as a leading supporter of UBC’s Centre for Excellence in Indigenous Health.

 


Pauline Terbasketsuiki?st Pauline Terbasket 

A member of the Syilx Okanagan Nation, suiki?st Pauline Terbasket has brought Indigenous interests and insights to the fore at diverse tables locally and abroad. She has served numerous and wide-ranging Indigenous organizations, including the Okanagan Nation Alliance, for which she has served for 25 years as Executive Director. Under her leadership, ONA has developed increasingly strong ties with UBC Okanagan, supporting the inclusion of Indigenous perspectives in university research and underscoring the importance of education with strong connections to identity, culture, and language.
